Scientific conferences are one of the most effective ways to improve a scientist's professional qualifications. Such events provide many opportunities for networking and expanding professional knowledge. This is especially important for medical professionals, as medicine is constantly evolving. In this article, we will look at the medical conferences that will take place in Poland in 2026.

Medical scientific events are extremely important for the development of medicine and science. Such events are valuable because they bring together medical professionals, professors, researchers and scientists. At such events, research and discoveries are presented, and ideas and new methods are exchanged. Below we have compiled a list of some of the medical conferences that will take place in Poland in 2026.
Medical conferences in 2026
European Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM2026)
ESPRM is one of the most important European platforms dedicated to the development of rehabilitation medicine as a clinical and research field. The conference brings together leading specialists working with the consequences of trauma, disability, neurorehabilitation, orthopaedic pathologies and motor function disorders. Conference participants may include:
- medical professionals
- scientists and researchers
- industry and technology innovators
- hospital and rehabilitation centre managers
- government and political leaders
- insurance and medical investment companies
- patients and advocacy groups
The event aims to combine fundamental research with practical rehabilitation methods and demonstrate the impact of innovations (e.g., robotics, exoskeletons, VR rehabilitation, telemedicine). In addition, the goal is to create a discussion environment for the standardisation of treatment protocols in Europe.
Dates: 23-26 March 2026
Venue: Krakow, Poland
Participation format: offline
20th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy 2026)
CONy is a unique format of a ‘discussion’ neurological conference, where scientific debates between leading experts take the place of traditional lectures. The essence of the conference is to highlight controversial, unresolved or contradictory issues in neurology: the treatment of dementia, strokes, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, migraines, motor disorders, neurodegenerative processes, etc.
Unlike standard congresses, CONy is designed not to provide the same ‘correct’ answers, but rather to present different scientific positions supported by research, interpretations of clinical protocols and real cases. This event is an effective platform where new clinical approaches and diagnostic methods emerge and consensus is formed on complex clinical situations.
Participation in the congress is open to all specialists in the field of neurology (neurologists, neurophysiologists, neuropsychologists, stroke specialists, epileptologists, geriatric neurologists, clinical researchers, etc.). Interns, postgraduates, young scientists and medical professionals involved in the treatment and research of neurological conditions are also welcome to actively participate in the congress.
The programme includes sessions where both experienced scientists and young researchers can present their scientific work. Thanks to this, CONy serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge between different generations of specialists and also contributes to the formation of professional contacts at the international level.
Date: 26-28 March 2026
Venue: Krakow, Poland
Participation format: online, offline
Neuronus IBRO Neuroscience Forum 2026
The Neuronus IBRO Neuroscience Forum is the largest international neuroscience conference in Poland, organised every two years by students of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. The conference aims to bring together representatives of various subdisciplines. Everyone is welcome: students, doctoral students, scientists and young researchers. Distinguished lecturers from around the world will deliver keynote speeches to participants. Young researchers will have the opportunity to present their own experiments during poster sessions and oral seminars.
The forum covers a wide range of neuroscience topics. A significant part of the programme is devoted to fundamental neurophysiology – the mechanisms of neural networks, synaptic plasticity, neural circuits, and bioelectrical processes. Another large section is devoted to cognitive neuroscience: memory, attention, decision-making, and neural correlates of behaviour. The clinical part of the programme focuses on neuropsychiatric disorders, emotional disorders, movement disorders, neurodegenerative pathologies, and neurorehabilitation.
Dates: 24-26 April 2026
Venue: Krakow, Poland

Warsaw Medical Expo / Medical Industry Congress 2026
Warsaw Medical Expo is a large-scale event that combines a medical equipment exhibition and a congress dedicated to the development of the medical industry. It is a platform where medical equipment manufacturers, doctors, heads of medical institutions, engineers and innovative companies can meet. The main idea is to show how technology, medical device design, diagnostic systems and digital solutions affect the quality of healthcare and medical processes.
The event focuses on showcasing innovations in modern diagnostics, rehabilitation technologies, surgical equipment, laboratory systems, hospital IT solutions, telemedicine, robotic technology, and medical safety standards.
Participation is open to doctors, heads of medical institutions, biomedical engineers, medical equipment manufacturers, scientists, representatives of insurance companies and state healthcare structures, etc. Thanks to its open format, participation is available to both specialists and businesses working in the field of medicine and medical technology.
Dates: 1-3 September 2026
Venue: Warsaw, Poland
