Founding of the company
Creation of Scientific Publications. Denys Pylypenko founds the company. The company commences scientific activities in Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries.
Geography of influence
Scientific Publications expands its geography of influence. Researchers from more than 30 countries, including those of the CIS and Eastern Europe, become clients of the company.
Visual Identity
The company starts developing a unique visual identity (logo, colours, fonts, graphics), and creates its Visual Identity Guidelines.
Partnership
The first memorandum of cooperation in the field of scientometrics and scientific publications was concluded with the Ukrainian institution of higher education.
Merger of companies
The Scientific Publications company comes under the management of a single holding company – Scientific Alliance, the parent structure that unites the projects in the scientific field.
Leadership
In terms of quality and quantity of completed projects, the company is becoming a recognised leader in the field of scientific publications in the CIS.
New office
The company is moving to a new headquarters in Ukraine, which is becoming the largest research and publication hub in Eastern Europe.
Launch of personal media
Scientific Publications creates the “Science and metrics” – the first journal about scientometrics in Ukraine.
Scientific and Educational Centre
The company launches its Scientific and Educational Centre. Its purpose is to conduct webinars, seminars, and conferences to inform the academia about all relevant and important events in scientometrics and science.
Cooperation with CrossRef
Scientific Publications has become the official sponsor organisation of the CrossRef agency, which provides a registration DOI for the publication of scientific articles.
Branch in the Republic of Kazakhstan
A branch of the company is opened in the Republic of Kazakhstan. At present, it is the only official distributor of scientific and publishing services in this country.
Certification Centre
The company has created the Certification Centre platform. It has become an official international certification centre for researchers in accordance with regulatory documents and standards of those countries where the Scientific Publications company provides its services.
Educational and training activities
Scientific Publications has held more than 150 educational events on scientometrics (conferences, seminars). Over 20,000 researchers from Ukraine and the CIS countries attended the company's webinars.
Memoranda
The company actively continues to expand the boundaries of cooperation with international universities and scientific institutions in research and scientific publications. In 2021, more than 25 memoranda were signed with universities of Ukraine and more than 20 memoranda – with universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Rebranding
Due to the new stage of development and the expansion of the company's influence in the international scientific space, a rebranding was carried out with the updating of the name, logo, positioning, etc.
Anniversary and plans
The company celebrated its anniversary – 5 years of undisputed leadership in the field of scientific consulting. Scientific Publications is actively developing, planning new projects, cooperation, and opens new representative offices in different countries.
The establishment of the Charitable Foundation “Scientific Alliance”
The establishment of the Charitable Foundation “Scientific Alliance” was initiated, the purpose of which is to provide the assistance to all those in need and the desire to create a better future together. A part of the funds from each implemented service is automatically transferred to the Foundation.
The company in the conditions of war
On February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation invaded the territory of Ukraine where the company’s head office is located. From the first day of the war the Scientific Publications opposed cooperation with the Russian Federation and organized the work of the team during the hostilities. Despite the difficulties, the company continues to maintain its leadership position in the market, provide quality services and develop.
Acquisition deal of World Sci Publ
A deal was concluded between the Scientific Publications company and the competing brand World Sci Publ on the transfer of a number of assets and developments under the management of the Scientific Publications. It is marked a new stage in the development of the organization and the expansion of the company’s structure.
Extension of structure and international influence
The Scientific Publications company continues to develop actively! The organization is interested in the global development of science and the quality of research works, therefore, it is working on opening branches in Poland, Albania, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and other countries, as well as expanding the structure in Ukraine.
Educational and training activities
The Scientific Publications scientific and educational centre is actively engaged in conducting educational events in the field of scientometrics. In 2023, the center organized more than 100 webinars and workshops aimed at raising awareness of scientists on current issues in scientometrics.
Memoranda
The company actively expands cooperation with international universities and scientific institutions. In 2023, more than 50 memoranda of cooperation were signed with leading scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine and other countries.
Awards for innovation and achievements
The company Scientific Publications was recognized by experts and became the winner of the prestigious Ukrainian Business Award in the nomination Business of the year 2023. In addition, the holding entered the rating of the most successful enterprises of several countries in 2023 and received the honorary award Star of Quality, confirming its high status and leadership in the international arena.
Opening of a new office in Ukraine
In 2024 Scientific Publications continues to actively expand its structure – a new office was opened in Kiev, becoming the third representative office of the company in Ukraine. The organization is interested in the global development of science and scientometrics, so it is working on opening units both in Ukraine and in a number of other countries.
Awards for innovation and achievements
Public Association Ukrainian Scientific Alliance honored the company Scientific Publications with the award SCIENTIFIC COMPANY AWARD 2024 for its significant contribution to the development of science in Ukraine, recognizing it as the best company in the field of scientific consulting.
Opening of the first office in Kyrgyzstan
Scientific Publications continues to actively strengthen its leading position in the market and expand its geographical presence. In 2024, the international organization opened its first office in Kyrgyzstan. The new office in Bishkek is ready for clients' visits, where they will be able to receive professional assistance from experts in the field of scientific consulting.
Educational and training activities
The Scientific Training Center of Scientific Publications continues to be active, and in 2024 has conducted over 70 webinars and workshops focused on current issues in scientometrics.

In 2024, the company continues to actively support the development of science and scientometrics by expanding partnerships with higher education and scientific institutions. During 2024, more than 30 memoranda of cooperation were concluded with educational institutions in Ukraine and universities in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
Strengthening the structure and expanding international influence
Scientific Publications continues to develop dynamically, contributing to the global development of science and improving the quality of research work. Now the company is actively working on opening branches in Poland, Albania, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and other countries.
Scientific and educational centre of Scientific Publications company
In the first half of 2025, our scientific and educational centre achieved significant milestones, including hosting the first scientometric webinar in Uzbekistan – a landmark event for the region. In addition, we organised more than 60 closed seminars and webinars, as well as 10 open events accessible to all interested participants. These educational initiatives brought together researchers from various countries, including Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Albania, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, and many others.
Distance for life
Every year, the Scientific Publications team takes part in charitable sports initiatives. In April 2025, our employees participated in the Kyiv Half Marathon of Unbreakable Spirit, which united more than 8,200 participants. Thanks to this initiative, over UAH 3.3 million was raised, with more than UAH 2.3 million transferred to the volunteer battalion “Hospitallers” for the purchase of advanced medical equipment.
Strengthening international cooperation
This year, Scientific Publications has continued to actively develop its international cooperation efforts. In 2025, we signed a memorandum with one university in Albania, three educational and scientific institutions in Azerbaijan, four universities in Kyrgyzstan, one university in Kazakhstan and two universities in Ukraine. These initiatives represent an important step towards strengthening our influence and presence at the international level.
