A DOI, or Digital Object Identifier, is a unique number that allows you to quickly and easily find scientific research on the Internet. The presence of a DOI provides researchers with easier citation opportunities.
Today, scientometric databases, digital libraries, and archives actively use DOI to provide their users with access to a large volume of materials. The DOI makes it much easier for researchers to cite sources in their scientific papers and facilitates the inclusion of these sources in the list of references.
