History of Scientific Publications
2016
Founding of the company by Mr. Denis Pilipenko. Development of active operations in Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan and CIS countries.
2017
Expansion of the geography of the alliance's influence. Researchers from more than 30 countries of the CIS and Eastern Europe are becoming clients of the company.
2018
Establishment of the Scientific Alliance holding company, under the management of which Scientific Publications is taken over. Scientific Alliance becomes a recognized leader in the field of scientific publications in the CIS countries.
2019
- Opening of a new headquarters in Ukraine - the largest science publishing hub in Eastern Europe.
- Launch of our own media "Science and Metrics" - absolutely unique publication in the field of science and scientometrics in Ukraine.
- Launch of a scientific training center. The company's experts provide detailed and up-to-date information in the field of scientometrics and science. The company regularly organizes webinars, seminars and conferences for the international scientific community.
- "Scientific Publications" becomes an official sponsor of the Crossref agency.
2020
- Opening a branch in the Republic of Kazakhstan - the only official distributor of scientific publishing services in this country today.
- Creation of an official international certification center for scientists - the Certification Center platform.
2021
- Active development of educational and training activities. More than 150 scientific and training events have been held since the foundation of the scientific and training center. More than 20,000 scientists from CIS countries have attended the company's webinars.
- The Alliance is actively expanding the boundaries of cooperation with international universities and scientific institutions in the field of scientometrics and scientific publications. In 2021, more than 25 memorandums were signed with universities in Ukraine and more than 20 memorandums with universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Establishment of the Scientific Alliance Charitable Foundation - a reflection of the company's values.
2022
- On February 24, 2022 the Russian Federation invaded the territory of Ukraine, where the company's head office operates. The overall efforts of the team and support from the philia in Kazakhstan helped to maintain leadership positions in the scientific consulting market and continue to provide quality intermediary scientific publishing services to the scientific community.
- In the same year, the alliance successfully finalizes the deal on joining part of the infrastructure and assets of the competitor brand "World Sci Publ" of Kazakhstan and other Asian countries.
2023
- The Scientific Publications Scientific Training Center is actively engaged in conducting educational events in the field of scientometrics. During 2023, the center organized more than 100 webinars and seminars, which were aimed at raising awareness of scientists on topical issues of scientometrics.
- More than 50 memorandums of cooperation were signed with leading scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine and other countries.
- The company received the prestigious "Star of Quality" award and was included in the rating of the most successful companies of several countries in 2023.
2024
- In 2024 Scientific Publications continued to actively expand its structure and geography of influence. This year a new office was opened in Kiev and an official representative in Poland appeared.
- Public Association "Ukrainian Scientific Alliance" honored the company Scientific Publications with the award "SCIENTIFIC COMPANY AWARD 2024" for its significant contribution to the development of science in Ukraine, recognizing it as the best company in the field of scientific consulting.
- During 2024, more than 25 memorandums of cooperation were concluded with Ukrainian universities.
- The team is actively working on opening representative offices in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Albania and other countries.
